i got it on tape!!!!
ok so i know i havent posted in like 2 weeks but trust me it was worth it. i finally have REAL evidence. not blurry photos, not "my cousins friend heard something". actual footage :D
for anyone new here (hi mom lol): theres been a str4nge string of disappearances around here lately. hikers, a couple of the urban explorer guys from the forums, even some reporter from out of town who came up to look into it. they all went north past the old logging road and none of them came back. no bodies, no nothing. the police keep saying people "get lost in the woods all the time". sure they do >_>
last week another one went missing. a guy (not posting his name, his family deserves some privacy) was last seen parking his car by the treeline on thursday. so saturday morning i packed up my camcorder, my compass and like 6 granola bars and went out there to follow his trail.
and guys. GUYS. i found his campsite. tent still up, sleeping bag inside, food still in the pot on his little stove. like he just got up and walked off in the middle of dinner. i followed his footprints out into this huge open field and they just... stop. right in the middle. no turning back, no second set of tracks, nothing. its all on tape.
also my compass was spinning like crazy the whole time out there and i swear everything felt lighter?? my backpack felt half empty. Ev says im just out of shape and it was the adrenaline lol. maybe. but i dropped a rock on camera and it definately fell weird. ive watched it back like 20 times.
and right before my batteries died i heard this low humming, like some kind of big machine. somewhere way past the trees, where there shouldnt be anything at all.
so heres the plan. im taking the tape down to the local news station tomorrow to show them. this is a real story and SOMEONE needs to get to the bottom of it. if they cover it maybe people will finally start taking these disappearances seriously. and maybe (just maybe) ill finally get my big break as a real journalist B)
one more thing. theres an old guy at the gas station who swears theres a huge abandoned lab hidden out there, right in the middle of that field. its not on any map ive ever seen. if its real, im gonna be the first one to find it ;)
oh and get this. he also said the earthquake last year wasnt a normal quake at all. he reckons it was the building. like it just showed up overnight and rose straight up out of the ground or something. which is obviously nuts... but nobody ever figured out what caused that quake either. just saying
Ev thinks im gonna get myself killed chasing this. i think Ev worrys too much :P
